PDLC film (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal film) is a type of smart glass film that can be electronically controlled to switch from opaque to transparent. This technology consists of a layer of liquid crystals dispersed within a polymer matrix that can be activated to align the crystals, making the film transparent. When the current is turned off, the liquid crystals become randomly oriented, scattering light and making the film appear opaque.
